Is it possible for the end user to service or lubricate your GVD-4 vent damper?
My boiler has begun failing to light, once every few days. Cycling the system off and back on has corrected the problem so far. It appears the problem may be that the damper is occasionally failing to open. Is it possible for me to lube or repair it myself? I had a seasonal preventative maintenance visit just a few weeks ago, and had zero issues - ever - before then.
Thanks - John Woodward

There is no lubrication required for the damper. You may leave the damper in the hold-open position, or replace the motor if necessary.
