SWG 4HDs
I have a SWG for my oil boiler. The motor has finally went its about 15 yrs old. 1st question is this a normal life span for the motor. My 2nd is I currently have a damper control on my flue is it necessary to have this installed on my flue using your system? Thank you my new motor should be here tomorrow.

The normal life expectancy on the motor in the power venter is 7+ years if the power venter is properly set up and maintained. The barometric draft control would be used on an oil fired appliance to maintain the proper draft setting for the boiler.
