There are two possible causes for the pressure sensing tube freezing. The primary cause is an improperly set or adjusted damper plate at the back of the power venter, which may not be configured correctly for the appliance’s draft requirements. The second possible cause is inadequate combustion air or makeup air in the space, resulting in negative pressure within the home.
