The various oil control kits adjust the CK post-purge in different ways. The standard post-purge time for an oil-fired appliance is typically 3 to 5 minutes. If a longer post-purge is required, the installer should verify the power venter setup and evaluate the combustion air and make-up air available in the space where the power venter is operating.
